here
Please note this does not show the entire archive, only items older than about 1918.
It displays items in date order. However these dates are only for this purpose.
1. There are many items of which I can only guess the date.
2. There are many items which span a range of dates (I generally take the earliest)
3. There are documents that I haven't even looked at, for which I have used descriptions and cataloguing done by someone else.
and in particular
4. There are many items which are copies or transcripts. Here I think it is more useful to know the date that is being discussed, rather than the date the copy or transcript was made.
Many of the transcripts are themselves over 200 years old! But I have included some modern copies (eg photocopies) as well, for now.
If you spot any errors, have information to add, or want any further information, put a Comment somewhere, please. What I have done probably does not meet conventional archive practices and I am very open to realistic suggestions and offers of help.
If you wish to refer to any of this information in another place, such as a local history website or book, it would be best to check with me first, and please note that I would like the item referred to as "Beaumont Archive X/YYY" quoting the catalogue date. Thanks.
