My father's book "The Beaumont Family...."

My late father produced a booklet of about 54 pages in 1977 entitled -

"THE BEAUMONT FAMILY OF SOUTH CROSLAND, WHITLEY BEAUMONT

LASCELLES HALL, KIRKHEATON, DARTON, CHAPELTHORPE

and (SINCE 1700) NOTTINGHAMSHIRE"

He subtitled it:

An attempt by THOMAS BEAUMONT (1916- ) to identify the main characters since the 

reign of Queen Elizabeth I and describe  their background and way of life.

It was an ambitious title. He distributed copies of it to various places. I have a copy that he presented to his brother, my late uncle Richard. It is marked with annotations, deletions, and corrections by them both. It is missing its Appendices. 

This booklet contains much that is good and much that is wrong.

I know that some of this could now be improved on considerably. I have not yet decided how to do this.
